Quote in Action: Integrity
Integrity - Always honest, upright conduct
Just being honest is not enough. The essential ingredient is executive integrity." - Philip Crosby
In some cases, the most effective leadership trait you can display is silence. Silence that honors the parties involved in a situation is truly golden. Silence also assists in the listening process, a key component to successful communication. So pull silence out of your toolkit as a first choice, rather than a second or third choice.

Quote in Action: Integrity
Integrity - Always honest, upright conduct
"Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody's going to know whether you did it or not." - Oprah Winfrey
Acting with honesty and standing tall in your conduct is not a mask that we put on and take off; it is the substance of who we are and the well from which we draw to take action. Decide to take the "high road" in every single situation, regardless of who is watching. That which happens to us when we are alone will, undoubtedly, show itself to the world through our future actions.
Where can you silently "do good," this week?

Quote in Action: Generous
Generous - Never shy to share
"He who gives what he would as readily throw away, gives without generosity; for the essence of generosity is in self sacrifice." - Henry Taylor
The opposite of generous is miserly, stingy, or cheap. How would others describe your contributions? An effective leader will package generous amounts of time, talent, energy, power, attention, control and financial resources to give away so that others are built up. Holding back won't advance the team or community which, in the end, holds the leader back as well.
What holds you back? Decide to give, generously, not until it hurts... but until it feels great!
